Steve DavisPastor Steve Davis Biography

I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at age 7.  I grew up having my family, my church and my faith be a huge emphasis on my life.  My main goal in life since that Sunday night has been to grow as close to Christ as I possibly can and to tell others the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I knew during my teenage years that God was calling me into full time ministry, but I was afraid that God -not knowing what was best for me- would send me to Africa as a missionary. I didn’t think I would like that!  I went to Technical School, became an electronic technician, got married and began living my life.  I had it all planned out!!

I, along with my wife and children, became very active in our home church, especially in the children and youth ministries. Looking back during this time when I thought I was "doing my own thing", I can see how God was really training me and my family to do His work.

In 1999, God began to change my heart and mind about the purpose of my life.  In 2001, I surrendered to God that I would go into full time ministry and do what ever He wanted me to do, wherever He wanted me to do it!!

I have always had a passion for evangelism.  Since 2001, that passion has manifested itself in my life through a series of various ministries. I am fully committed to share the Gospel of Christ anywhere, using any means that God will allow me to.

My wife, Peggy, and my three children, Joshua, Jonah and Jared, have always been  my biggest supporters.  I know that they are praying for me to minister in the way God would have me to and that they enjoy being involved in the ministry with me whenever they are able to.

As we start this latest chapter of our lives, we look forward to many years of service here at Sharon.  Our desire is to see lost men, women, boys and girls come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, so that we may all become a shining light for Him, not only in this community, but in the entire world.
